And then came the annexation of the peninsula by Russia. As Sergei Korovchenko later claimed, he immediately resigned, defying pressure and refusing to sign the referendum documents, destroying all the seals of his department—allegedly coordinating this personal guerrilla war with the head of the Ukrainian Ministry of Justice. Pavel PetrenkoBut these were only his words, and then other words appeared: the so-called “Glazyev films”, in which the name of Sergei Korovchenko was mentioned. In February 2014, Russian presidential adviser Sergei Glazyev, in a conversation with State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin, discussed the candidacy of Sergei Korovchenko as the “Minister of Justice of Crimea” (separated from Ukraine), calling him Medvedchuk's manHere is a transcript of this conversation:

Eyes: Hello, Kostya, look, I just contacted Medvedchuk, they'll give me their proposals. They already have a current Minister of Justice of Crimea, well, he was in Mogilev – Sergei Vladimirovich Korovchenko. He's their guy, they have good reviews for him. He said he'll beef up the legal team. We need to keep this Korovchenko. He's already the Minister of Justice of Crimea, so we need him to stay there.
Zatulin: Well, I don’t know how this Korovchenko behaved during the events, you know?
Eyes: I understand, Kostya.
Zatulin: I arranged a meeting, so I'm on my way now. I'll be there around 11:00. He's really tense because they have to approve the Cabinet of Ministers at three o'clock, and so on, consultations (inaudible).
Eyes: Well, it's better to wait until the next day, really. But we'll see. Ask about Korovchenko.
Zatulin: Okay, I'll ask.
Eyes: I have two candidates that I support... Korovchenko is Medvedchuk's candidate, and I've known Razumovsky well for many years. He's absolutely ours.
Zatulin: By the way, (inaudible), Medvedchuk, he disappeared somewhere in the midst of events...
Eyes: Well, he may have failed, but he has a pretty good legal team. He's completely on our side. And the main thing is that he can get to VV at any time, which means he's an important channel of influence.

parliamentary inquiry by Denisenko, Korovchenko

Serhiy Korovchenko and Vitaliy Nestor: Batkivshchyna's schemers. Part 2

Serhiy Vladimirovich Korovchenko himself denied the authenticity of these tapes, arguing that he hadn't remained in Crimea but had returned to Kyiv. Nevertheless, after the publication of these tapes, Korovchenko faced many questions. In 2018, at the request of MP Vadym Denisenko (BPP), the SBU even opened a criminal investigation (see document), but then the matter went quiet.

It's unclear why Korovchenko didn't accept the job of Minister of Justice in annexed Crimea, but upon returning to Kyiv, he engaged in corporate raiding. The company he founded in 2014, Art System (39496200), headed by Vitaly Nestor, became an instrument in a fraudulent corporate raiding scheme. seizure of Lira-2000 LLC, located in the capital at 1 Dneprovsky Descent. This story began back in 2009, when Russian businessman and swindler Igor Bobnev, with the help of his partner, a Ukrainian banker Andrey OnistratHe "dumped" Sergei Babushkin, the founder and co-owner of Lira-2000, by seizing 75% of the shares and moving them offshore. Babushkin long sought justice in the courts and only achieved it in the spring of 2014. However, Bobnev continued to hold onto the building, and while the conflict raged, in October 2014, the company "Art-System" was established, transferring the Lira-2000 property to its name. In an unprecedented fraud, Nestor and Korovchenko's company invited KUN activists to allegedly help oust Bobnev's "titushki" from the building. However, in reality, this was a new takeover of the building. Nestor promised the nationalists a pittance in rent for an entire floor of the office building, and they dreamed of opening a museum of the "Heavenly Hundred" or a "Rehabilitation Center for ATO Participants" there. In reality, Bandera's dim-witted fans were simply duped and, after a while, kicked out, and the building was used as collateral in fraudulent loan schemes. Moreover, Babushkin, who continued to fight for his property, was opposed. a whole campaign of persecution has begun from the Kyiv "Batkivshchyna" side.

Yes, yes, after the betrayal of Batkivshchyna in 2010, after three years of working for the Party of Regions together with PortnovKorovchenko returned to Kyiv and was reinstated in the party. Either with the help of his sister's husband, who had also returned to the BYuT and begun climbing the party ladder, or by making a large sum of money to the considerably impoverished Yulia Volodymyrivna. He then went to Pryluky, where in 2017 he became Batkivshchyna's representative in electoral district No. 210. There, he immediately formed a successful alliance with another of Tymoshenko's criminal sponsors, a local "authority figure." Vitaly Dubil.

However, in between his duties, Korovchenko occasionally travels to annexed Crimea, where he still has many affairs and friends. For example, according to data from Simferopol Mayor Gennady Bukharev Skelet.Org, together with Korovchenko, he marched through the city under Russian flags at the parade on May 9, 2015. By the way, Korovchenko even placed on "Peacemaker"!

But every time he returns from Crimea, Sergei Korovchenko dons a starched embroidered shirt and puts on patriotic comedies. He even had the audacity to run as a candidate in the 210th majoritarian constituency in the 2019 parliamentary elections from...ATO veterans and volunteersDubil ran on the Batkivshchyna party list in these elections, so the district was entirely at Korovchenko's disposal—though he ran as a non-partisan candidate.

Buying local volunteers and military personnel wasn't difficult, as Sergei Korovchenko even created a charitable foundation (EDRPOU 41469291) and a public movement (41770359) bearing his name. Incidentally, the Korovchenko Foundation was initially headed by Vitaly Nestor, and later by his wife, Yana Vladimirovna. The foundation generously supplied the residents of Pryluky with buckwheat and even organized lotteries with prizes!

But voters didn't know that they were essentially paying for Korovchenko's election campaign, having fallen victim to his scam involving... donkey meat from the Promised Land. Korovchenko bought it cheaply in Israel, through a scheme involving Palestine, as written-off and unfit for human consumption, and registered it as raw material for fish feed production. He brought 22 tons of donkey meat to Pryluky, soaked it in sodium tetraborate (the meat stank), and sent it to a meat-packing plant, where it was turned into expensive dry-smoked sausage and basturma. Some of the goods were sold in the Chernihiv region, and some, with the help of Nestor, in Kyiv.

Why does Nestor need a capital?

Vitaliy Nestor also ran for parliament in these elections, under the Batkivshchyna banner in the 212th single-member constituency (Kyiv), but he only received 4% of the vote, finishing seventh. It was a clear failure, but Nestor emerged unscathed, as Tymoshenko had appointed him. Chairman of the capital's Batkivshchyna party just a few days before the elections, having ousted his old ally Vladimir Bondarenko.

Prior to this, Nestor spent a year and a half heading the "Kyiv Residents' Defense Center," created by his party. It did the same thing as his new project, "Kyiv's New Strategy," now does—that is, empty presentations and pulling the wool over voters' eyes. It was obvious that Vitaly Nestor had only succeeded in raiding other people's property and selling sausages made from dead donkeys! Yet, the intent of these two projects was clear. The first, created for the 2019 elections, was supposed to help Kyiv residents with various everyday problems: utility bills, disputes with housing and communal services and banks, consumer issues, etc. Tymoshenko, by the way, tried to seize the issue of inflated utility rates at the national level, but she never grasped the essence of it, so her statements and promises seemed simply foolish. People like Nestor had no understanding of the issue at all, but they knew how to spend the party's coffers. All he achieved was a reduction in the utility rate for a certain area by a couple of hryvnias...

The failure of the first project and the rather modest election result were misjudged. Batkivshchyna decided to seek a new approach to Kyiv residents: instead of low tariffs, they began promising them the creation of a city of the future. It seems this project was conceived under the leadership of Vitaliy Nestor, as it is completely absurd and out of touch with reality. As with the tariffs, there's no understanding of the problem. Old water pipes can't handle the load of new buildings, just as old Soviet bridges are collapsing from overload and disrepair. But instead of building new ones, Nestor proposes only "digitalization." And on top of all this, he wants to elevate the Kyiv Aircraft Plant to a global leader and make the capital a new center of the film industry, following the example of Budapest (which is actually a pornographic center). An idiot? No, a common con man, like Ostap Bender, who spoke to the residents of Vasyuki!

Batkivshchyna won't be able to install its own man in the Kyiv mayor's seat; that's perfectly clear. That's why Tymoshenko is cherishing the hope of at least securing a strong faction in the Kyiv City Council, while Nestor is lulling her into reassurance with the party's supposedly growing ratings. But what is his personal stake in these elections? It turns out, quite a lot! Firstly, Vitaliy Nestor and his family, according to Skelet.Org, are directly involved in the very construction business that is destroying the capital's green spaces and infrastructure. Through the company "KMB Corp Solutions" (38991698), he manages "Kyivmiskbud-1" LLC (24595667), whose owners, besides himself, included Moldovan Moisei Lilian, Luhansk resident Oleg Altashin, and Donetsk resident Sergey Shepelev. Previously, it was controlled by developer Valentin Isaak (former partner of developers Garik Korogodsky and Alexander Melamud). According to media reports, the company has in fact been controlled by Portnov and Sergei Levochkin, and Nestor was assigned to look after it. So, in recent years, this company has been plagued by, so to speak, some setbacks. Then, in 2016, the court ordered it to return half a hectare to the city. land on Lukyanovskaya Street, then in 2017 the company inentered the top 100 tax debtors, without paying 116 million hryvnias into the treasury. It's clear that by being elected to the Kyiv City Council, Nestor will be able to improve its situation! Moreover, he has very influential allies: Alla Shlapak and Vladislava Molchanova.
BYuT, scheme, Sergey Korovchenko, Kyiv
With Molchanova everything is simple: this scandalous businesswoman She is now Serhiy Korovchenko's common-law wife. She currently owns 54 companies, making Korovchenko look like a penniless gigolo. Molchanova previously headed Batkivshchyna's campaign headquarters, and now she's been invited back. It's easy to see how the Molchanova-Korovchenko-Nestor-Dubil alliance is creating a powerful center of influence within Batkivshchyna, a veritable playground for intra-party intrigue and brokering of spots on the party lists.

Alla Shlapak was previously an advisor to the mayor. Leonid Chernovetsky and remained a person close to his family and specifically to his son Stepan Leonidovich, and another “family friend” To Denis Komarnitsky, A well-known, scandalous developer. Shlapak and Nestor are longtime friends, so they can draw at least people from Chernovetskyi's inner circle into the Kyiv Batkivshchyna party. And others will inevitably follow, with the same goals—getting their hands on Kyiv's budget and land. Furthermore, through Komarnitskyi, they have a direct connection to Mykola Tyshchenko, the leading mayoral candidate from Servant of the People and the godfather of Andriy Yermak, head of the Presidential Administration. One can only imagine the vast opportunities for corruption these complex connections open up!
