Sergey Pashinsky

Serhiy Pashinsky is now both a member of parliament and the head of the Presidential Administration. Meanwhile, Pashinsky continues his corporate raiding operations – he recaptured the Zhytomyr Delicacies company from Portnov, who disappeared to Moscow. Pashinsky appointed his friend, Tatyana Chornovil, to head the anti-corruption committee. Plus, during the war, he goes fishing in the eastern region. So, quite a while has passed, and Pashinsky has already given the media so much to chew on. Are you saying that only Yanukovych-era figures should be lustrated? Well, well... According to him, holding a second position is not illegal. Acting Head of the Presidential Administration Serhiy Pashinsky said that he combines this position with his parliamentary mandate entirely legally and will not relinquish his parliamentary powers, as he will soon be leaving the Administration. He told reporters this at a press conference.

Pashinsky has no intention of resigning his mandate.

"There's legislation, and there's the 'acting' status. So, there's no violation of the law here today. We have a presidential election on May 25th. And I've never set myself the task of managing this building, and I don't want to," he commented on his dual duties.
Pashinsky also emphasized that he would resign from his position as acting head of the Presidential Administration immediately after the election results are announced.
"Regardless of the outcome, I will leave this building, as I came here for other purposes. My goal is clear: to technically ensure a change of power at the local level," Pashinsky emphasized.
He explained that the transition to a parliamentary-presidential republic is currently proceeding rather slowly in the regions. According to him, only slightly more than 20 percent of the 586 heads of district administrations have been replaced. There's also a problem with the former Ministry of Revenue and Duties: due to the ongoing liquidation of the agency, local tax and customs officials cannot be replaced.
Furthermore, Pashinsky announced that an anti-corruption bureau will be created in just two weeks, which Tetyana Chornovol will present in the Rada next week.

Estate worth 20 million

The acting head of the Presidential Administration, Serhiy Pashinsky, may have ties to estates near Kyiv worth 15 million hryvnias and corporate raids.
According to journalists, Pashinsky has a house in the village of Khlebcha, near Kiev, but he does not live there.
The head of the Presidential Administration allegedly lives in the cottage community of "Khutor Yasny" near the village of Lesniki, not far from Kyiv.
A hundred square meters of land here costs up to 12 thousand dollars.
Construction work in this town is being carried out by the construction company "Khutor Yasny", headed by Viktor Sinenko, a long-time business partner of Pashinsky.
Pashinsky, together with Sinenko’s firm Intercontract, owns the firms Healthy, Agro-KSI, and ARD-Invest CJSC.
The founder of Pashinsky's charitable foundation, Irina Shpileva, is also a long-standing partner of Sinenko, according to the report.
In Khutor there is a house called "Juliet", worth almost 1,5 million dollars, which is registered to Sinenko, but in which Pashinsky probably lives.
As the realtor explained, everything in "Juliet" is expensively done, with teak and mosaics, an elevator and marble staircases.
Journalists suggest that, through Sinenko, Pashinsky is connected to another "well-known" individual, Sergei Dyadechko, who was implicated in the RodovidBank scandal.
Dyadechko, according to journalists, connects Pashinsky with another RodovidBank functionary, Ruslan Bodunov, who has serious ties to the Donetsk gang.
It is likely that the sister of Pashinsky's partner, Tatyana Etenko, is a co-owner of Agrokombank, which was used for the hostile takeover of the confectionery company Zhitomirski Lasoshchi.
The former owners of the company are firmly convinced that Pashinsky actively participated in the seizure of their property.
The current owner of "ZhL" refuses to speak on camera, but allegedly also does not deny the interim head of the Presidential Administration's involvement in his business.
The estate of the head of the Presidential Administration, Pashinsky, has access to a river and its own VIP church.
According to TSN, Acting Head of the Presidential Administration Serhiy Pashinsky and his family live 50 km from Kyiv. The official's estate is located in the village of Khlepcha.
Pashinsky's Mercedes takes him to the capital from there in about half an hour. Khlepchi has a population of just 150. Pashinsky owns a two-story house with private access to the river.
The estate grounds contain a chapel—the only religious building in the entire village. However, worshippers from outside the estate are not allowed to attend the church because it is private property. Therefore, the villagers travel to another village for services.
“This is private property, the owner of which, according to my information, is Sergei Pashinsky, the head of the current Presidential Administration.
"I don't know him personally. It's private property, it's secured with codes, locks, and so on. No one has access there," explained Archpriest Mikhail Osapchuk from the church in the village of Soltanovka.
In neighboring Kalinovka, President Kuchma's ally, Tatyana Zasukha, built her own church. But hers is open to everyone. Pashinsky ended up owning an entire church. "There's a trend, so to speak, emerging among these rich and powerful officials who don't want to attend in person with everyone else, but rather have their own private church—they come, pray for themselves, so that no one will disturb them, so that no one will push them," explained Priest Mykhailo. He himself disapproves of this practice of private churches, not least because they are built illegally.
"This is a religious building. It's not in any way a utility structure. Of course, one could say that this is, to some extent, a violation of the law, because every plot of land has its own functional purpose," he explained.
TSN sent an official request to the Presidential Administration, currently headed by Mr. Pashinsky. The journalists inquired whether he had permission to build the church and whether his land was designated for the construction of a religious building. The administration responded that this information is not public and is not subject to disclosure.
As previously reported, Pashinsky has been officially appointed head of the Presidential Administration by Acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov.
The head of the administration's business connections include the scandalous vice president of Rodovid Bank, Sergei Didechko, and Sergei But, accused of kidnapping two nuns from the Kiev Pechersk Lavra.

Connections with Donetsk

Acting President Oleksandr Turchynov's interim head of administration, Serhiy Pashinsky, has ties to Donetsk businessmen and owns real estate near Kyiv worth approximately $20 million.
The Nashi Groshi program established a connection between the acting head of the Presidential Administration, Sergei Pashinsky, and a million-dollar construction business and discovered that the politician is closely connected to the "Donetsk gang."
Pashinsky's long-standing business partner is Viktor Sinenko. He is currently the director and co-owner of Khutor Yasny LLC and several other companies with similar names. Khutor Yasny LLC builds and sells homes in the eponymous luxury cottage community in the village of Khodosivka, near Kyiv. One hundred square meters with access to water costs $12. Cottages cost over $1,5 million.
One of the palaces is also registered to Viktor Sinenko. However, the worker
