Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin is known to drive an armored Mercedes, rented by his security service, according to Ukrainska Pravda.
His assistant, Vladislav Kutsenko, stated that this decision was made after the discovery of a revolver in the reception room of the head of the Prosecutor General's Office, and that the Mercedes was rented due to the lack of armored Daewoos and Tavrias in Ukraine.
He also noted that the car was leased from a law firm and costs 10 hryvnia per month.
As a reminder, businessman Alexey Tamrazov previously stated that Shokin's car was worth approximately 19 million hryvnias. However, it was not included in his tax return or in the State Procurement Bulletin.
