Shokin transferred the estate to his granddaughter, who lives in the United States.

On July 24, 2014, Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin gifted a certain Veronika-Anastasia-Grinevich an estate in the village of Zabor'e near Kyiv, according to Nashi Groshi.

When journalists arrived at the scene, they saw Shokin himself leaving the house. He refused to speak to the media, got into a Mercedes, and drove away.

It's important to note that this house is not listed in Shokin's tax return for 2013-2014. It also doesn't list one-third of the Prosecutor General's four-room apartment in Kharkiv.

The aforementioned estate is located on 0,22 hectares of land and consists of several buildings. Their combined area exceeds 1,000 square meters. The property also includes an indoor swimming pool. Officially, Shokin leases the land adjacent to the estate. The land, which covers 0,08 hectares, is designated for grazing livestock.

Interestingly, according to journalist Vladimir Boyko, Anastasia-Grinevich is Shokin's granddaughter and officially resides in the United States. He wrote about this on Facebook.

Overall, Shokin's tax declaration has become considerably more modest since 2013. While it previously listed a 282-square-meter house, it now only lists a 139-square-meter apartment, a 173-square-meter country house, two plots of land (0,48 hectares and 0,08 hectares), and an 18-square-meter garage. Furthermore, the declaration does not include a single car.
