According to the developers' plans, the first two sections of the Avalon 5 residential complex in Vinnytsia's elite neighborhood are already nearing completion. Investors are eagerly awaiting the promised 14-story, 9-story, and 12-story units, complete with landscaped grounds and a kindergarten. However, in the last couple of months, only the pile field for the first sections and 5-7 workers have appeared on the designated development site at 7 Tramvaynaya Street.
Rumors are circulating in the city that the main investor, Alexander Berba, has been unable to be found for several months by either the developers, investors, or local authorities.
Furthermore, it turns out that Andrey Reznicenko is the general manager of the Avalon 5 residential complex in Vinnytsia. He is also the founder and CEO of the Antey real estate agency.
In 2014, the agency's management was implicated in a scandalous criminal case involving the sale of non-existent apartments in Vinnytsia. More than 15 families paid Reznicenko's subordinates over $300 for apartments and were left with nothing.
Today, Avalon 5 investors, fearing the same fate as those who suffered at the hands of fraudsters, have already sought legal assistance to clarify key issues regarding construction documentation. A request was sent to the head of the Vinnytsia architectural and construction inspectorate for information regarding the construction complexity, violations of existing regulations, and the validity of the permits issued. The response was formal, without any specifics.
On July 22, 2016, the lawyer again sent requests to the competent authorities of Vinnytsia.
However, despite the late deadline for fulfilling the request, a response has yet to be received. Let's hope that city authorities will not remain indifferent to the concerns of ordinary Vinnytsia residents and will not allow the Avalon 5 residential complex to become the new Elite Center.
