What property did Anna Kolesnik fail to declare?
A pre-trial investigation revealed that the MP failed to declare two apartments in the capital, worth a total of over 3,5 million hryvnias, in her 2020 asset declaration. She also "forgot" about the car she used.
It also turned out that Kolesnik failed to provide information about non-residential premises located in the city of Kharkiv and owned by her.
The amount of undeclared property exceeds 4 million hryvnias.
The amount Kolesnik failed to declare is 500 times greater than the subsistence minimum for working-age individuals. This is a direct violation of the Law on the Prevention of Corruption.
In total, the people's deputy failed to declare movable and immovable property worth more than 4,4 million hryvnias, which is more than 500 times higher than the subsistence minimum for able-bodied persons, thereby violating the requirements of paragraphs 2 and 3 of Part 1 of Article 46 of the Law of Ukraine "On the Prevention of Corruption"»

What is known about Anna Kolesnik?
Anna Kolesnik is a member of parliament of the ninth convocation and a member of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Taxation, and Customs Policy. Until the age of 25, she worked as a forensic expert at the Kharkiv Scientific Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
In 2021, when Chief of the General Staff and Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Ruslan Khomchak announced in a speech to the Verkhovna Rada that Russia was building up its troops near Ukraine's border, Kolesnik wrote in a private message that "we need to get out of this country."
