Zurab Malazonia, the infamous former deputy head of the medical department of the penitentiary service, has been appointed head of Kyiv's Oleksandrivska Hospital. He is known for facilitating the persecution of the current leader of the Petro Poroshenko Bloc, Yuriy Lutsenko.
According to MP Iryna Lutsenko, Malazonia was appointed as "part of the Georgian team that will help Ukraine reform." The wife of the BPP head also accused the penitentiary service of infecting her husband with hepatitis and called the appointment itself the height of cynicism.
It's worth noting that Malazonia previously commented on the health of Lutsenko and Yulia Tymoshenko in a manner consistent with the previous government. Meanwhile, his boss, Polyakov, denied Lutsenko had hepatitis.
