Alexander Vagorovsky believes Smart Holding plans to stage a forced takeover of the chain's stores in Zaporizhzhia on January 28. According to the top manager, this is being done to accuse the chain's legitimate management of illegal actions.
“This is a pure provocation,” emphasized Alexander Vagorovsky.
The top manager noted that his principled approach is to always resolve corporate disputes in a civilized manner, and in extreme cases, resort to court.
"Without legal grounds, our opponents resorted to armed seizure of stores on December 31. The illegality of these actions is obvious to the business community and law enforcement. Apparently, they decided to 'even the playing field' by portraying us as raiders just like them," said Alexander Vagorovsky.
"I officially declare that neither I personally nor my authorized representatives are planning any illegal actions. In our history, there has only been one raider – Smart Holding. We will fight to the bitter end for the rights and interests of the Astor chain, our employees, suppliers, and tenants. However, our fight will always proceed strictly within the law," stated Alexander Vagorovsky.
