The media has published the preliminary composition of the new Cabinet of Ministers.

Cabinet of MinistersAccording to the publication DePo, negotiations on personnel matters for Arseniy Yatsenyuk's second government have entered the final stretch—the names of all ministers could be finalized by representatives of the future coalition this Friday.

According to the publication, Poroshenko would not mind seeing current Prosecutor General Vitaliy Yarema as Interior Minister. However, Arsen Avakov, with the support of oligarch Governor Ihor Kolomoisky, retained his position, DePo reports.

"Yarema could become the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. In that case, the top post in the building on Reznytska Street would likely go to Yarema's current deputy, Viktor Shokin. But Shokin is a second option—he's being tipped to head the newly created Anti-Corruption Bureau," the publication notes.

Minister of Justice Pavel Petrenko is guaranteed to remain in his post (Read more about it in the article Pavel Petrenko, the "pocket" boy of the Yatsenyuk "Family") and the head of the Ministry of Social Policy Ludmila DenisovaCabinet Minister Ostap Semerak will likely remain in his position.

Finance Minister Oleksandr Shlapak will likely not be in the next Cabinet, the publication reports. His replacement is tipped to be Andriy Pyshny, the current head of Oschadbank and a close associate of Yatsenyuk's from his Chernivtsi days. The new head of the Ministry of Economy is still unknown. It's possible that the position will be given to Samopomich.

"Yatsenyuk's deputy prime ministers will definitely represent the President, DePo reports. Instead of Svoboda's Oleksandr Sych, Mykola Tomenko will be in charge of the government's humanitarian affairs (despite his persistent rumours of being promoted to Minister of Education), who also held this position in Yulia Tymoshenko's first government in 2005. Meanwhile, Volodymyr Groysman, who just a couple of weeks ago was considered a contender for the Speaker's seat, appears to be remaining in the executive branch and will be in charge of regional development, construction, and housing and utilities," DePo writes, noting that Pavlo Klimkin will retain the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Stepan Poltorak the Ministry of Defense. (read more about it Stepan Poltorak: The new Kuchma needs a new Kuzmuk).

Oksana Bilozir will head the Ministry of Culture. Serhiy Kvit will remain as Minister of Education.

Olga Bogomolets is almost certainly expected to head the Ministry of Health. It's also unclear who will replace the current Minister of Youth and Sports, Dmitry Bulatov.

"The recent summons to the Prosecutor General's Office of the head of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy, Yuri Prodan, allegedly in connection with violations in the purchase of coal from South Africa indicates that Yuri Vasilyevich's chances of remaining in the Cabinet are slim. Among the possible candidates for this position is Oleksandr Dombrovsky, a member of the President's inner circle. However, everything will depend on 'market conditions,'" the publication writes.

The search for a new Minister of Infrastructure continues. There are several ministries for which no preliminary decision has been made, including the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Ecology.
