The lifting of Onishchenko's parliamentary immunity, a silent raider attack on an agricultural holding, criminal violations committed by officials, MPs, and socialites, and the destruction of the "sacred" Roshen (Top SKELETs for July 04.07–July 08.07)

Not only have MPs effectively committed genocide against the poor and pensioners, but some have now resorted to active measures, physically assaulting an elderly person, while a socialite, apparently completely overwhelmed by the joys of the "dolce vita," is torturing her own children. Against this backdrop, it's even awkward to talk about the discovery of a bank used to finance "titushki" or about how an honest businessman's business was quietly "squeezed out." However, if utility services managed to demolish Poroshenko's store, and a thieving MP lost his own lawsuit, there's a chance that things will start to change for the better...

Skeletons in politics

Observers of events in high political circles are keenly interested in the process of excommunicating Oleksandr Onishchenko from the ranks of the powerful . Clearly, there's no smoke without fire, and he was certainly involved in some machinations, but why he has become such a scapegoat remains unclear. It's assumed he seriously crossed someone; otherwise, why would the Verkhovna Rada create such a high-profile precedent? However, the man himself is in no hurry to return home, preferring to remain in Russia.

Oleh Berezyuk, head of the Samopomich faction, made a surprise statement: he accused Gontareva of involvement in fraud during Viktor Yanukovych's presidency. The MP based his accusations on media reports , which the day before published documents revealing links between ICU (then headed by Gontareva) and frozen accounts at Oschadbank, which belonged to the "family" of the fugitive former president. Gontareva herself has not commented on Berezyuk's calls for an immediate investigation by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), nor on the contents of the published documents.

Even more unexpected was the legal action brought by People's Front MP Serhiy Pashinsky: he filed a lawsuit seeking punishment against MPs Dmytro Dobrodomov, Serhiy Sobolev, and Savik Shuster's television channels 3S.tv and 112.ua for baselessly accusing him of fraud with the confiscated "Kurchenko oil products." Not only did Pashinsky lose the case, but the NABU and SBU are now seriously investigating his illegal activities.

Alexander Zamansky with his wife

Alexander Zamansky with his wife

Observers have focused on a scandalous incident: Dnipro Sobornyi District Council deputy Oleksandr Zamansky and his wife beat an elderly woman and destroyed her meager purchases . A video recording of the incident, later posted online, sparked outrage not only among the public but also among his fellow party members, who immediately expelled the outrageous MP from their party. However, he maintains his innocence, claiming the pensioner, while intoxicated, attacked him and damaged his car. The community hopes that law enforcement will bring this shameful incident to a conclusion.

Viktor Yushchenko and Viktor Baloga

Viktor Yushchenko and Viktor Baloga

No less interesting is the fate of "three-time MP" Viktor Baloha, who reached the peak of his career under former President Viktor Yushchenko. Unfortunately, those seeking guidance on how to become a prominent political figure from his biography will likely find nothing useful, as it reads more like a crime report or the biography of a notorious criminal. The words "banditry," "racketeering," and "smuggling" appear in virtually every paragraph, raising questions about how a man with such a reputation ended up as head of the Presidential Administration, not just in prison.

Skeletons in the Law

southAnother scandalous fact was revealed during the liquidation of Yuzhkombank, a pocket institution-“wallet”, previously owned by the Yanukovych “family”. It turned out that payments for titushe's services were made through himwho terrorized the civilian population: the money was transferred in the form of loans to shell companies, which, of course, had no intention of repaying them. However, the criminal case opened concerns not only an attempted organized bandit attack with the intent to kill, but also the seizure of weapons from the emergency reserve stored in the storage facilities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

A scandalous case involving the collapse of VAB Bank recently came to light: documents implicating Vladimir Kostelman, owner of FOZZY Group, irrefutably prove that he, acting in collusion with the bank's staff, fraudulently secured large loans, which ultimately led to the collapse of the financial institution and left ordinary depositors at risk, losing all their savings.

Ivan Fedorko

The accident on the Boyarka-Zabirye highway, where a drunk driver rammed a car carrying photojournalist Max Levin with his wife and children , had tragic consequences . This news might not have made it into our review of the events if not for one detail: the driver, Ivan Fedorko, head of Ukrzaliznytsia's freight transportation department, was completely intoxicated. Not only did he refuse to admit his guilt, but he even began threatening violence, brandishing fake police IDs. Furthermore, his own security guards eventually "defended" him, preventing a medical examination, and drove him away to an unknown destination.

An equally sad story, involving abuse of one's own children, multi-million dollar thefts, drug use and a dissolute lifestyle, is connected to a person from the capital's high society, a certain socialite Olga Galbmillion (Bakhtalovskaya)Of course, socialites are famous for their outrageous behavior, but in this case, we're talking about serious criminal offenses, with extortion and theft being the most minor offenses on the list.
Skeletons in business

Oleksandr Gerega, the owner of a large chain of Epicenter building materials supermarkets, has decided to expand his business in a completely unexpected direction: he recently acquired a large Vinnytsia-based agricultural holding company engaged in the cultivation, storage, and processing of grain crops, as well as livestock farming. The building materials retailer will now own four grain elevators and approximately 50,000 hectares of arable land, which he is free to manage at his own discretion. However, this hardly means he intends to divest himself of his profitable supermarket chain; rather, it's a desire not to put all his eggs in one basket. However, observers don't rule out the possibility that agricultural products may soon appear on the shelves of his stores.

in-kiev-neizvestnye-razgromili-ryad-larkov-chudom-ucelel-roshen_1Meanwhile, the clearing of the capital's streets and squares from small architectural forms continues: retail outlets are being ruthlessly demolished, taking all their merchandise with them, despite the protests of the owners and their claims that they have all the legal documents. But the funniest thing was when On the way of the special equipment there was a kiosk from the Roshen factoryKyiv's public works department employees sheepishly avoided it, while management rushed around in panic, not wanting to risk touching the President's property. Ultimately, the bench was demolished, with its contents guarded by specially dispatched police officers and demolition workers.

How would you react if, upon arriving at work this morning, you learned that yesterday you had submitted your resignation letter and voluntarily handed over your salary to a complete stranger, all while in your right mind and clear head? No, this isn't a fairy tale or the plot of an alien movie. This is exactly what happened to the director of the company Agroprodukt, Vitaly Litvinenko, whose company was subjected to a corporate raid based on forged documents and seals. Of course, the court will likely resolve the situation and restore justice, but what will remain of the company's assets and other property remains unknown, as the "new owners" formally have every legal right to do with it as they please.
