Boris Timonkin, former deputy head of the supervisory board of the VETEK group of companies, accused the former deputy head of Brokbusinessbank of fabricating a case against him. He made this statement in an interview with the German publication BERLIN-VISUAL.

The banker stated that the possible reason for the pressure on him was his reluctance to share his high salary. Timonkin also noted that the investigation needs to question several dozen people to establish the truth.

As a reminder, the VETEK group of companies is associated with the disgraced oligarch Sergei Kurchenko, and Timonkin himself "ran" Ukrsotsbank for 12 years.

He was placed on the wanted list in June 2014, accused of creating and leading a criminal organization. Timonkin himself had already left Ukraine for France in February of last year.
