The Main Investigative Department of the Prosecutor General's Office is seizing documents related to the criminal case against former Deputy Prime Minister Valeriy Voshchevsky, according to Nashi Groshi.
In 2011, Voshchevsky contributed 11,9 million hryvnias to the authorized capital of Zhilstroyinvest LLC, but this money was not reported on the tax return. The former deputy prime minister then managed this company, abusing his official position and violating several building codes. Specifically, according to media reports, a nine-story building was erected between Novoselytska and Buslavska Streets in Kyiv's Pechersky District on the site of a demolished four-story building.
It's worth noting that Voshchevskyi served as Deputy Prime Minister in Arseniy Yatsenyuk's government under a quota from Oleh Lyashko's Radical Party. He held this post from December 2014 to September 2015. He resigned after the Radicals left the coalition.
Interestingly, in his 2014 declaration, he indicated 21,09 million hryvnias in contributions to the authorized capital of enterprises.
