According to the press service of former Ukrspetsexport CEO Sergei Bondarchuk, a search was conducted in his apartment on November 1 in connection with a criminal investigation.
During the search, the mobile phone was checked and all contacts were transcribed. Memory cards, hard drives, and one photograph were seized. The specific photograph was not specified.
Bondarchuk himself stated that many media outlets had been calling him this morning, trying to find out what had happened: "It's true that military prosecutors conducted a search of my apartment on November 1st. However, I am not at liberty to disclose the details of the criminal case under which the search was conducted. The only thing I can say is that I am a witness in this case."
As it became known, on Monday, November 3, the Ukrainian military prosecutor's office also conducted a search of the office of Ukrspetsexport CEO Oleksandr Kovalenko as part of the investigation into this criminal case. Also, On October 10, the SBU, accompanied by Alpha The document was confiscated from the office of this company.
Let us recall that on December 29, 2010, the state concern Ukroboronprom was created, which includes seven enterprises of the military-defense complex, as well as Ukrspetsexport, together with three enterprises: Ukroboronservis, Ukrinmash, and Progress.
These enterprises are the main exporters of special and military equipment of Ukrainian production abroad.
