The owners of Platinum Bank have been revealed.

platinumAccording to updated information from Platinum Bank, its owners have become known.

The ultimate beneficiaries of this financial institution are 11 individuals. Their stakes in the bank range from 7,9% to 9,9%. Grigory Gurtovoy, the head of the supervisory board, is also one of Platinum Bank's beneficiaries. He owns 9,21% of the shares.

 

It was also revealed that Mr. Gurtovoy holds a power of attorney to manage 100% of the financial institution's shares. According to bank information, as of January 1, 2015, Gurtovoy was a citizen of both Israel and Russia. Updated information lists Gurtovoy as an Israeli citizen residing in Ukraine.

 

It was previously reported that the chairman of the supervisory board intended to increase his stake in the bank to 71,2%. However, he has not yet received permission from the NBU to carry out this operation.

 

According to published information, Platinum Bank's sole direct shareholder is the Cypriot holding company PT Platinum Public Limited. The latter is managed by Dmitry Zinkov, who also directly owns 8,22% of the Ukrainian financial institution's shares.

 

The co-owners of PT Platinum Public are Boris Goldstein and David Halpert from the United States, Englishman Paul Gilham, Serbian citizens Marko Mićanović, Majid Dušan Pažić, and Milica Kostis, Luxembourgian Paul Musel, and Cypriot citizens Marinos L. Karydas and Chrysostomos Sofokleous. Each of these individuals indirectly owns between 7,91% and 9,9% of Platinum Bank's shares.

 

As a reminder, as of July 1, 2015, with assets of UAH 7,032 billion, Platinum Bank ranked 25th among 127 financial institutions operating in our country.
