Among the list of single-member candidates running for the Verkhovna Rada elections from the presidential party "Servant of the People" in the 220th district in Kyiv (Podilsky district) is Anna Bondar. She is the deputy director of the Department of Urban Development and Architecture of the Kyiv City State Administration, according to «Ukrrudprom».
The woman collaborated with the former Kyiv City Council deputy for a long time. Andrey Vavrish, was his assistant. Vavrish himself, as head of SAGA Development, presented the concept for the new Presidential Office in an official video from Volodymyr Zelenskyy's team.
According to investigative journalist Yuriy Nikolov, while serving as deputy director of the Kyiv City State Administration's Department of Urban Development and Architecture, Vavrish helped former President Petro Poroshenko change the designated use of Lenkuznya land, allowing for residential construction to begin there. "And in gratitude, the former president gave him a small plot of land (about 3% of the plant's territory), which Vavrish is now developing as the Rybalsky residential complex," the journalist notes.
Vavrish is also a close friend of the current head of the Presidential Administration, Andriy Bohdan. For example, in the presentation video for the new Presidential Office, Vavrish is presented as the developer "Lev" of NAMU (NAMU is an acronym recently used in the branding of the National Art Museum of Ukraine).
"Experts don't rule out the possibility that Vavrish will be the one to handle not only construction but also financial issues. For developers, most of whom have various issues with their properties (especially with paperwork, and for those building in the city center), the project to convert Ukrainian House into Volodymyr Zelenskyy's office could become a way to resolve their problems with government officials and regulatory agencies. This is also true for Vavrish himself. His project in Podil at the intersection of Sahaidachnoho and Andriivska Streets (commercial income-generating real estate, coworking spaces) is considered "problematic" in development circles due to its permitting requirements," the publication notes.
