The Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the activities of the great electric power group in Ukraine VS Energy, led by Russians Evgen Giner, Mikhailo Voevodin and Oleksandr Babakov.
This was reported by a participant in the energy market, “LIGA.net” reports.
It became clear that in the fall of 2015. Finally, the MBC management discovered two criminal offenses in connection with the activities of the service members of the electric power group.
“Two years ago, inspections took place in the central office of VS Energy in Kiev,” said the security officer of one of the energy companies. The Golosiivsky District Court of Kiev issued a sanction for the seizure of company documents on June 30.
Based on the document, MBC is investigating tenders for the purchase of Kievblenergo (under VS Energy since 2012). This article is about the agreements of Kyivoblenergo with three companies - LLC "Ukrenergoaktiv" (in the stage of liquidation - ed.), LLC "NIK-Electronics" and LLC "Ukrainian Energy Company". The court allowed the seizure of all documents related to the operation of these structures from 2014 to May 2015.
All designated structures regularly won tenders of regional power companies, which are part of VS Energy.
Another criminal offense was openly committed against VS Energy at the end of the spring by a hundred-hundred-piece reduction in profits, which led to the government's underestimation of losses in the form of payments and dividends.
“At this moment, the Ministry of Internal Affairs is inspecting the warehouses of Kyivoblenergo, and all operations were carried out through them,” said a police officer. “Criminal activists also have the nicknames of VS Energy.”
The VS Energy group in Volodya has the largest energy supply enterprises (oblenergos), the revenue of which in the past amounted to 13 billion UAH.
VS Energy became the owner of Sevastopolenergo, Khersonoblenergo, Zhytomyroblenergo and Kirovogradoblenergo. The sum of money was deposited by Mayzha in the amount of 400 million UAH. In 2012 The company's energy portfolio has been replenished with three more oblenergos - Rivneoblenergo and Kyivoblenergo for $113 million and 45% of Chernivtsioblenergo for UAH 70 million.
From the same company, VS Energy bought 50% of Zakarpattyaoblenergo for UAH 231 million, and through the river sold the asset to the structures of Serhiy Lyovochkin. In addition, the “Slovaks” concentrated minority stakes (up to 20%. - Ed.) in Khmelnytskyi and Mykolaivoblenergo.
The total revenue of the energy business of the group in the past amounted to 13 billion UAH (without the settlement of Sevastopolenergo), which became close to a third of the market for the transmission of electricity through local lines in the region. At the end of the last year, the Russians bought 25% of Chernivtsioblenergo during privatization and won the court battle for control over Odesaoblenergo.
