Many of them have traveled more than 300-400 kilometers and have essentially exhausted their service life. Some vehicles are in extremely poor condition.

According to his estimates, the State Administration of Affairs will be able to comfortably operate 130 vehicles. More than ten vehicles have already been transferred to two regional administrations located in the ATO zone. Another ten vehicles are planned for transfer to the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Previously, part of the fleet was transferred to the Ministry of Defense and the Security Service of Ukraine. However, according to Berezenko, a large number of surplus vehicles still remain.

An auction is planned for the near future, where approximately 150 vehicles will be sold. The sale will be conducted through the State Property Fund, as the State Administration of Affairs has no right to sell anything. The proceeds will go to the Ukrainian budget. The State Administration of Affairs also has rare Chaikas and ZILs in its fleet.

The sale is expected to generate several million hryvnias. The sale of these vehicles will also free up two parking lots occupied by motor pools. These will then be used as open spaces for an investment project.

Berezenko noted that the president’s motorcade includes cars from 2008 and 2009 and that they should be updated.
