The court refused to allow the Deposit Guarantee Fund to collect 2,3 billion rubles from Novinsky.

On September 30, the Kyiv Commercial Court rejected the Deposit Guarantee Fund's claim to recover UAH 2,3 billion from Yernamio Consulting Limited, a former shareholder of Forum Bank and a company controlled by Smart Holding.
An informed source reported this, according to Ukrainian News.
The court rejected the Fund's request to prove that the former shareholder of the financial institution, Smart-Holding, was to blame for the insolvency and liquidation of Forum Bank.
The amount of the claims was reduced from the previously stated 5 billion hryvnias to 2,3 billion.
As is known, on August 13, the court rejected Smart Holding's challenge of the Deposit Guarantee Fund's decision to liquidate Forum Bank.
As a reminder, on June 16, the National Bank of Ukraine decided to revoke the banking license and liquidate PJSC Bank Forum.
As reported, the Deposit Guarantee Fund for Individuals proposed that the National Bank transfer part of the assets and liabilities of the troubled Forum Bank to a receiving bank and liquidate Forum Bank itself.
Yernamio Consulting Limited (Cyprus), controlled by Smart Holding of MP Vadim Novinsky, owns 98,77% of the shares of Bank Forum.
