The court upheld the registration of Valeriy Khoroshkovsky as a candidate for people's deputy, despite the fact that he was absent from Ukraine from December 28, 2012 to September 21, 2014.
This was reported by candidate for people's deputy Sergei Leshchenko, who acted as plaintiff in the case.
"The Khoroshkovsky case has been lost. Nothing is changing in the country. Bravo, telephone law," Leshchenko wrote.
Leshchenko also added that many details of Khoroshkovsky's machinations became known in court.
"For me, the Khoroshkovsky case is a 'stress test' for the current political system. It has failed. The courts are corrupt, and the telephone law is in effect. There's a conspiracy surrounding Khoroshkovsky by the country's political leadership," he wrote.
As is known, three candidates for parliament from the Poroshenko bloc filed a lawsuit, considering Khoroshkovsky's registration illegal.
He was absent from Ukraine from December 28, 2012 to September 21, 2014, as reported by the Border Service.
