The court lifted the seizure of Yanukovych's partner's land.

On March 26, 2021, the High Anti-Corruption Court, represented by Judge Vera Mykhailenko, reviewed and granted the petition of the lawyer of former President Viktor Yanukovych's partner, Lyubov Polezhai, and lifted the seizure of her land plots, reports "Word and Deed".

"The motion of attorney Konstantin Aleksandrovich Popovich, acting on behalf of Lyubov Polezhai, to lift the seizure of property is granted in part. The seizure of the land plot located at the following address: Kyiv Oblast, Vyshgorod District, Novi Petrivtsi village, Lazarev Sad estate, and the land plot with cadastral number is lifted," the court ruling states.

As a reminder, the High Anti-Corruption Court (HACC) previously lifted the seizure of the residential building belonging to Yanukovych's partner, Polezhai, with a total area of almost 417 square meters.

"Later, her lawyer filed a motion to lift the seizure of the land plots located beneath the house. The court granted the motion, as a letter from the SBU stating that Polezhai was Yanukovych's partner was insufficient to initiate criminal proceedings against her," the publication writes.
