The court ordered a company close to Yanukovych to pay 82 million hryvnias.

courtThe court ordered Intech Company LLC, a company close to former President Yanukovych, to pay 80,86 million hryvnias to the Southwestern Railway. This was confirmed by the Kyiv Commercial Court's decision of December 2, as reported by Nashi Groshi.

On October 14, 2013, railway workers hired Intech Company to build Production Building No. 3 for the mid- and major repairs of high-speed trains at Darnytsia Station in Kyiv. The contract was valued at UAH 272,01 million. The work was scheduled to be completed by the end of 2014.

At the end of 2013 and the beginning of 2014, the railway transferred UAH 81,6 million to the company.

A forensic expert determined that the facility's current state of completion is 3%. Moreover, "the most likely cost of the completed work is UAH 8,9 million." The expert was unable to determine the exact cost of the work, as a significant portion of it is hidden and cannot be inspected in person (excavation work, foundation preparation, etc.).

At the same time, the company exceeded the approved estimate by using inaccurate pricing and performing additional work without the client's approval. Furthermore, it inflated the prices for materials and certain work, and included work in the work reports that was not actually performed.

The court notes that the contract price was fixed, and that if the estimate was exceeded by more than 10% of the contract price, the company was required to notify Southwestern Railways. However, no additional agreements regarding the cost of the work were entered into.

In this regard, the court collected from Intech Company 73,51 million UAH in advance payment and 7,35 million UAH in fines for violating the terms of the contract.

Between 2011 and 2013, Intech Company won construction contracts for the Darnytsia station worth UAH 495,69 million. Overall, the company won government contracts worth UAH 909,08 million between 2010 and 2013. In particular, Intech Company LLC was the contractor for the construction of a new building for the Okhmatdet Children's Hospital in Kyiv.

By the end of 2012, Intech Company LLC belonged to Donetsk resident Anton Maksimov, who has been its director since 2010.

Currently, the company's founder is listed as the Kyiv-based LEMAK Asset Management LLC, which is owned by Alesher Assistance LLC. Alesher Assistance, in turn, is registered to two companies: Budoptsnab LLC and Mettreidimpex LLC, whose founders are listed as Viktor Klimenko and Pavel Lesik.

Previously, Anton Maksimov co-owned Energoinvest Financial Company LLC with Denis Kulikov, director of Mega Term LLC, which shared a telephone number with Donetsk-based Aqua Appia LLC. Aqua Appia was founded in 2007 by Tatyana Galenko, a top manager in Oleksandr Yanukovych's business empire.

In addition, Anton Maksimov's father, Viktor Maksimov, was a co-owner of Corum-Oil LLC from 2009 to 2010, along with Dmitry Malikov, the son of Valeriy Malikov, the former head of the Donetsk region tax police and former deputy chairman of the State Tax Administration of Ukraine until 2012.
