Oleksandra Oborotova, a judge at the Odessa Regional Commercial Court. The judge who helped seize businesses.

June 6, 2002 – Oleksandra Yuryevna Oborotova was appointed to a 5-year term as a judge of the Commercial Court of Odessa Oblast.
May 17, 2007 – elected for life.

According to the income declaration, the judge's family owns apartments of 192 square meters and 74.4 square meters, and a 2008 Acura MDX. No other real estate or vehicles are listed.

As judicial practice shows, Alexandra Oborotova participated in decision-making that contributed to the bankruptcy (and, in fact, the corporate raid) of large state-owned manufacturing enterprises, namely:

Krayan Holding Company OJSC (100% state-owned). Judge Oleksandra Yuryevna Oborotova of the Odessa Regional Commercial Court, in a bankruptcy case, issued a ruling approving a settlement agreement, according to which the sole assembly shop, covering 51000 square meters (5,1 hectares), was transferred to the "investor," Ukrzagrantrud LLC, for UAH 2 million. The shop was subsequently resold twice, and the commercial court ordered the eviction of Krayan Holding Company OJSC, which led to the suspension of production, the dismissal of employees, and the complete bankruptcy of the company.
The transfer of assets of JSC "Kharkiv Holding Company Krayan" occurred at the request of the bankruptcy trustee, V.M. Ivanov, who also participated in the corporate raids on the Black Sea Shipping Company. The prosecutor's office opened a criminal case against this "bankruptcy trustee."
It is worth noting that Judge A. Oborotova took over this case after Judge G.M. Zelenov refused to rule in favor of the raiders.

Orion Machine-Building Production Association JSC (50% plus one share owned by the state). Judges of the Odesa Regional Commercial Court issued three rulings in the bankruptcy case, dismissing the director and assigning his duties to an insolvency administrator close to the raiders. Higher courts overturned the unlawful rulings, but during their physical occupation of the premises, the raiders cut up all equipment for scrap metal, tore up the metal floor tiles, and left the workshops empty. Due to the looting of the enterprise, the state-owned stake was put up for sale at a minimal price.
A large number of materials (articles) concerning the corporate raid of JSC Machine-Building Production Association Orion have been published on the Internet site zahvat.net, including a complaint to the High Qualification Commission of Ukraine against the actions of judges of the Commercial Court of Odessa Oblast Bakharev B.A., Lepekha G.A. and Oborotova A.Yu.

Judge Oborotova also made an equally interesting decision on March 25, 2013, awarding the Odessa City Council 321 million hryvnias in favor of Infox LLC. Infox LLC demanded that the city budget compensate the company for losses it allegedly incurred due to the failure to compensate it for the difference between the existing water tariffs and the cost of services between 2008 and 2010.
According to representatives of Infox LLC, the funds the water utility receives from city residents and legal entities only allow it to cover 80% of its costs, with the city government obligated to cover the remainder.
The Odessa City Council did not appeal Judge Oborotova's decision.
According to some Odessa media outlets, officials intended to pay Infox with water utility assets. This was likely the whole point.

The most outrageous case was the judicial privatization of the 10th-story building of the OCNTI in Odessa at 28 Rishelyevskaya Street, where the "Institute for the Training of Professional Judges" is also located, by decision of Judge Oborotova on December 24, 2012.
Since 2004, Invac LLC has leased 2212,00 square meters of non-residential premises in the two-story part of the building, basements, and showrooms from the regional office of the State Property Fund of Ukraine.
In 2007, Invac LLC carried out a so-called “major renovation” of the rented premises, after which the building’s area increased by 225,2 square meters.
The audit firm "Economic Priorities" determined the cost of repairs at 1497413,36 hryvnia.
After the renovation was completed, Invats LLC filed a claim for recognition of ownership of the “newly created property.”
Judge Oborotova recognized the ownership of the premises with an area of 1544,1 square meters.
Currently, the state educational institution, the Institute for the Training of Professional Judges at the Odessa National Law Academy, leases premises from Invats LLC and pays rent to the company's account.
It is worth noting that Judge Alexandra Yuryevna Oborotova's father, Yuriy Nikolayevich Oborotov, heads the Department of State and Law at the National University "Odesa National Law Academy."
The director of the audit firm "Economic Priorities", which carried out the assessment of the cost of major repairs, is Irina Valerievna Bessmertnaya, who was also the founder of INVATS LLC.
In addition to Bessmertnaya I.V., the founders of INVATS LLC were Vadim-2003 LLC (legal address: Odessa, Pionerskaya Street, 9 – address of the Odessa National Law Academy), which belongs to Vadim

Podgorodinsky, a deputy of the Odessa City Council, director of the Institute of Prosecutor's Office and Investigation of the Odessa National Law Academy, and Tatyana Pisarenko, the wife of the vice-rector of the Odessa National Law Academy, N.F. Kryklyvyi.
It is worth noting that the Honorary President of the Odessa National Law Academy is People's Deputy Serhiy Kivalov.
