A judge in Lvov with Russian citizenship was not fired.
Today, October 3, the judges decided not to dismiss the chairman of the Cassation Economic Court (CEC) within the Supreme Court (SC), who was confirmed to have Russian citizenship, сообщает The Anti-Corruption Action Center writes A business.
"The judge Lvov was not dismissed from his position as head of the State Property Committee. The Supreme Court's Commercial Court of Cassation just sealed its fate, putting a final end to its reputation. It was a vote by which they defined themselves. And by which they cast a shadow over the entire Supreme Court.“,” the CPC said in a statement.
According to the Central Election Commission, 39 of the 40 people present participated in the vote, which was secret.
«21 people voted for the dismissal, but one more vote was needed for the decision (since the decision is considered taken when the majority of employees vote, which is 43 people).)”, the message says.
As a reminder, the Supreme Court previously reported that, following an investigation by the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), the head of the Cassation Commercial Court of the Supreme Court, Judge Bohdan Lvov, was found to be Russian citizen.
