The Son of Gemini or They're Running for Parliament Again...

A strange piece of information made the evening news. A majoritarian candidate from Kramatorsk, Serhiy Bliznyuk, wants to throw the journalists of "Hromadske TV Donetsk" into a trash bin. Frankly, the actions of all the "Donetsk people" and their sons, mistresses, bodyguards, and drivers are simply sickening... Bliznyuk's son, like his father, of all people, should have kept quiet by now... Because everyone knows who stirred up the separatist wave in Kramatorsk, not to mention the other affairs of this "respectable family."
So, as reported by "Left Bank", (I quote) "The majoritarian candidate from Kramatorsk, Sergei Bliznyuk, wants to throw journalists from "Hromadske TV Donetsk" into a trash bin.
He stated this in response to an invitation to come to the publication’s studio, reports Hromadske TV.

Serhiy Bliznyuk, son of the former chairman of the Donetsk Regional State Administration and former Minister of Housing and Communal Services Anatoly Bliznyuk, is considered the favorite in his district.
The Bliznyuk family controls one of the largest industrial enterprises in Kramatorsk—the Kramatorsk Heavy Machine Tool Plant—and is a co-owner of the Energomashspetsstal plant (the main shareholder is Russia's Rosatom).
Let us remind you that the elections to the Verkhovna Rada are scheduled for October 26."
Much could be said about Bliznyuk's son, just like his father. And much more. But now we'll give our readers a closer look at this individual chasing a parliamentary badge.
And by the way, we recommend law enforcement agencies, some of which in Kramatorsk were long ago bought out by the Bliznyuk clan and then defected to the DPR, pay very close attention to what happened to Bliznyuk's businesses in Kramatorsk... For some reason, their fate seems quite curious...
In the meantime, we recommend reading the article "Offshore Affairs of the Bliznyuk Family," published on the ORD website in November 2011, to which the current editorial team of SLED.net.ua contributed a bit. We will definitely return soon to Sergei Bliznyuk and his "modest achievements" in the case of the "Danets People's Republic," or whatever they're called... Be vigilant...

The offshore affairs of the Bliznyuk family

The departure of former Donetsk Governor Anatoly Bliznyuk for a ministerial position in Kyiv has not affected his son's activities in his native Kramatorsk. Serhiy Bliznyuk has always been a strong supporter of his father, especially in matters concerning the current Minister of Regional Development's business interests. However, there has been recent talk of some difficulties in the Bliznyuk family's business, attributed to the desire of the sons of a more influential Donbas native (Vladimir Yanukovych) to "take over" as many commercial entities as possible, regardless of who is "friend" or "foe."
What does Sergey Anatolyevich Bliznyuk, Director of Prospective Development at Energomashspetsstal OJSC and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the same OJSC, control to one degree or another, which allows him to remain one of the richest people in Kramatorsk?
According to experts, in addition to JSC Energomashspetsstal itself, the following are in this row:
OJSC Kramatorsk Heavy Machine Tool Plant
OJSC Starokramatorsky Machine-Building Plant
JSC "Plant of Technological and Special Equipment"
JSC Kramatorsk Metal Structures Plant
Kramatorsk Reinforced Concrete LLC
JSC Elektrostal
Almatrade LLC
LLC "Nikiz"
Besides mechanical engineering and other industries, the son of the Minister of Regional Development of Ukraine is also interested in other sectors of the national economy:
JSC Kramatorsk Motor Transport Enterprise 11410
LLC "Transport Enterprise No. 1" of the city of Slavyansk
OJSC Kramatorsk Oil Company
LLC "Construction Company "Kramgorstroy"
JSC "Production and Trading Enterprise "Center Gold"
This series of enterprises could be continued, but I am afraid to bore the reader with listing them.
Control and management of these enterprises is carried out through other structures (LLC "Asset Management and Pension Fund Administration Company "Raider-Invest", LLC "Investment Campaign Capital", LLC "Financial Campaign D.S."). Moreover, to ease the tax burden in Ukraine, offshore structures are actively used in the activities of these enterprises (where would we be without them? Costas group incorporation and Ganado Trade incorporation (Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis), Goldex International Limited and Ashley Trading & Finance LTD (Virgin Islands), Global Investments Limited (Cyprus)).
At the same time, many people in power or close to them try to use their opportunities to enrich themselves, including at the expense of budgetary funds.
In particular, at the Kramatorsk municipal enterprise "Experimental Plant for Recycling Solid Municipal Waste" controlled by Sergei Bliznyuk (annual budget funding reaches up to 1 million UAH), prices are inflated when purchasing equipment.
Also, through the Kramatorsk Tram and Trolleybus Administration, Sergei Bliznyuk, in collaboration with other officials, organized the illegal acquisition of budget funds to compensate for the costs of transporting privileged categories of the population, paying off electricity debts, and other expenses.
A scheme has been organized through offshore companies, primarily through Energomashspetsstal, to funnel foreign currency earnings abroad and then return them to Ukraine under the guise of foreign investments and contributions from non-resident founders to the authorized capital of Ukrainian enterprises, which makes it possible to avoid taxation in Ukraine (and then we ask why there isn't enough money for public sector employees).
At the same time, "offshore" companies are used for another scheme: Energomashspetsstal sells "forged and turned steel round blanks" (i.e., semi-finished products) to an offshore company, which are actually finished products called "transmission rolls." These so-called "semi-finished products" are then sold, as is expected, as finished products, priced 20-30% higher. This scheme allows for a significant reduction in customs duties and payments (where are you, the "public sector employees" our government so cares about?).
Sergey Bliznyuk isn't above corporate raiding to expand his business. According to insiders, in July 2011, Sergey Anatolyevich orchestrated an attempt to seize the Kramatorsk Central Department Store (owner of Nak LLC), using every means at his disposal (government agencies, courts, and security agencies (for forceful intervention)) by executing a scheme involving the assignment of debt under a loan agreement. However, this attempt failed only thanks to the swift action of Nak LLC's director, who was able to organize resistance and repay the outstanding loan.
Serhiy Bliznyuk is not alone in his actions. The current elite, who only pay lip service to their love for the people, are in fact simply stealing from the pockets of ordinary Ukrainians, loudly sighing about the need for this or that reform because there's no money in the budget. Typically, 20-30% of kickbacks from budget funds (road construction, hospitals, budget programs) go into the personal pockets of the new "elite." This is the reality of today's Ukraine.
It's always painful when someone steals from you, especially when it's people who proclaim from every platform that we're our own "Donetsk people" and call for voting for "our own," those who "don't waste their time." Think about it, gentlemen "Donetsk people"—elections are coming...
