The parliamentary factions "Batkivshchyna" and "Samopomich" have begun collecting signatures for the resignation of the current government.
At today's meeting of the conciliation council, Batkivshchyna leader Yulia Tymoshenko appealed to representatives of other factions to support this initiative. She also stated that the "corruption behind the scenes" must end.
Samopomich leader Oleh Berezyuk and the head of the Ukrainian radicals, Oleh Lyashko, have already promised that their deputies will sign the bill. But the head of the People's Front, Maksym Burbak (Read more about it in the article Maksym Burbak: How Chernivtsi residents sat on Donetsk's "golden toilet") stated that this would lead to political instability and early parliamentary and presidential elections.
Burbak also predicts that in this case, former members of the Party of Regions and "wild populists" will return to power, and, in addition, noted that the government's resignation would be beneficial to Russia.
Meanwhile, according to the statement of the speaker of parliament Volodymyr Groysman, if there are 150 signatures, he will initiate the procedure for the resignation of the current Cabinet of Ministers and has already given the corresponding order to Oksana Syroid.
