Kyiv City Military Administration Chief Timur Tkachenko earned over 1,5 million hryvnias in 2025. He paid over 350 hryvnias in taxes.
This is evidenced by the official response of the Kyiv City State Administration to the request of Telegraph.
The document states that Tkachenko's annual salary alone amounted to over a million (1,255,758 hryvnias). He was also awarded almost 100,000 hryvnias in compensation for unused vacation (95,045.52 hryvnias).
The letter also mentions other payments totaling 188,363.70 hryvnias, the nature of which is not explained. These may have been travel expenses or a bonus for access to state secrets, which could amount to hundreds of thousands of hryvnias. As a reminder, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Police Department, Oleh Sinegubov, received over 240,000 hryvnias in such a bonus.
It is worth noting that the head of the KGVA did not receive a bonus or either of the stipulated types of financial assistance (for resolving social and domestic issues and for health improvement).
Thus, Timur Tkachenko was awarded more than 1,5 million in salary (1,539,167.22 UAH), but after deducting taxes, which exceeded 350 thousand (354,008.49 UAH), he received 1,185,158.73 UAH in cash.

Timur Tkachenko was born on August 18, 1989, in Kyiv. He graduated from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a degree in international economics and the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine.
He has headed the Kyiv City Administration under martial law since December 31, 2024. Prior to his current position, he worked in various government agencies, including as Director of the Kyiv City State Administration's Department of Urban Development, Deputy Minister of Strategic Industries, and Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko has repeatedly criticized Tkachenko, accusing him of expanding his powers and attempting to usurp power in the capital, blocking important economic decisions, and upsetting the balance of power between the city and the military administration. Klitschko even addressed these complaints to the president.
