MP Mykola Tomenko of the BPP faction decided to file a complaint against Prime Minister Yatsenyuk with the Anti-Corruption Bureau. He announced this decision from the podium of the Verkhovna Rada on November 4, 2015.

According to Tomenko, Parliament drafted and passed a law temporarily banning the export of roundwood and valuable timber from Ukraine. However, Yatsenyuk's Cabinet of Ministers is failing to implement this law. According to the MP, the Cabinet of Ministers gave the Forest Resources Agency permission to use old certificates, thereby violating three provisions of the new law. This has led to increased corruption in the timber processing industry, and Ukraine is losing valuable timber.

Moreover, Tomenko noted, Yatsenyuk is giving an urgent order to the Ministry of Economic Development to develop and submit to the Cabinet of Ministers a new bill that would lift the temporary ban on timber exports.

According to the MP, Yatsenyuk is not contributing to the fight against corruption, so Tomenko decided to file a lawsuit against the prime minister with the Anti-Corruption Bureau.

We previously reported that Nikolai Tomenko, in an interview with one of the publications, stated that he would vote for the resignation of the Yatsenyuk Cabinet..
