Ukroboronprom top manager Morozov may have ties to Russian intelligence agencies.

On March 4, 2021, Andriy Kot, a member of parliament from the Dovira parliamentary group, during a plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada, stated that Ukroboronprom's Deputy General Director for Marketing and Sales, Mykhailo Morozov, "clearly belongs to the Russian special services," reports Interfax-Ukraine.

In connection with the parliamentarian's statement, the State Concern Ukroboronprom launched an internal investigation into the activities of the deputy general director.

Kot noted that his activities as the head of the then Progress special export company with one of the South Asian countries caused losses to Ukraine.

"The State Concern Ukroboronprom is undergoing a reform process designed, in particular, to eliminate even the slightest possibility of corruption or direct political influence and to build a transparent and open system of corporate governance in the interests of Ukraine and to protect our country's borders from an aggressor state," the Ukroboronprom press service said in a statement.
