The luxury “Lanos” costs like three winter tires for the armored “Mercedes” of the Verkhovna Rad.
Autobaza Management of the Right to the Office of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine 3rd June, following the results of the tender, awarded the benefit of LLC "GAZ-Avtozapchastiny" for the purchase of winter tires in the amount of 406 thousand UAH. This is reported in the “Bulletin of Sovereign Purchases”.
122 tires were purchased for Skoda, Opel, Toyota Camry and Land Cruisers, Mercedes, as well as one tractor.
The most expensive tires turned out to be several Michelin tires for an armored Mercedes 600 b - 47,152 UAH each. per piece. For three of these tires you can buy a new Lanos car with the Luxury version for 138 thousand UAH.
Last year, the parliamentary car depot bought the same tires for 24,700 UAH/piece, which is 1,9 times cheaper. The sharp increase in prices does not correspond to the increase in the dollar exchange rate, which has risen in price by 1,6 times.
On the website of the Michelin company, whose tires are purchased by the parliamentary motor depot, it is noted that “tires must be carefully inspected after five years of use.”
However, prices for other tires have not increased so much. For example, tires for the Skodi Octavi have risen in price from 840 to 927 UAH/piece,

The parliamentary motor depot has paid for the purchase of tires for 0,95 million UAH. For comparison: last year we spent 0,70 million UAH on the market, last year – 1,17 million UAH.
