The National Bank of Ukraine has revoked the license of Premium Bank, which is associated with former Kyiv mayoral candidate Serhiy Dumchev, and has initiated liquidation proceedings.
It is known that the NBU discovered violations of the law in the financial institution's financial activities and, without the intermediate procedure of introducing a temporary administration, began liquidating Premium Bank.
It is reported that financial violations were discovered as a result of an unscheduled inspection by the National Bank.
Premium Bank's total liabilities to depositors amount to UAH 150 million. As of October 1 of last year, Premium Bank ranked 56th among all operating Ukrainian banks, with assets of UAH 1,75 billion.
The financial institution's supervisory board was headed for a long time by Sergei Dumchev.
