Andrey Pyshny
The public association "Legal Protection" reports that its "order" contains information implicating the current head of Oschadbank, Andriy Grigoryevich Pyshnyy (read more about him: Andriy Pyshnyy: Yatsenyuk's Godfather and Oschadbank Killer ) in the forgery of documents confirming his higher education. Specifically, a document confirming his studies at the Sumy branch of the "University of Modern Knowledge" in 2004. According to Legal Protection, Pyshnyy illegally obtained a certificate of study from the then-rector of the "University of Modern Knowledge," Viktor Vasilenko.

The public association also filed a corresponding request with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Education, and the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine regarding the illegal receipt of a diploma from the Ukrainian Academy of Banking by the head of Oschadbank, Andriy Pyshnyy.
Thus, the lack of proper education of the head of Oschadbank will not only call into question Andriy Pyshnyy's continued tenure as head of the state-owned bank but will also serve as grounds for initiating a criminal case for using a knowingly forged document. In turn, the Ministry of Education must decide to annul a higher education diploma if a forged document confirming previous university attendance was submitted upon admission to an educational institution.
It is reported that it was this certificate of study at the Sumy branch of the "University of Modern Knowledge" in 2004 that allowed Pyshny to immediately enroll in the fourth year of the correspondence department of the Ukrainian Academy of Banking of the National Bank of Ukraine.
As a reminder, the scandal surrounding Andriy Pyshnyy's "fake" diploma arose in 2006. But then, current Prime Minister Yatsenyuk helped hush it up. Pyshnyy is known to be a friend and godfather of Arseniy Yatsenyuk. The two politicians have been friends since their college days. It was Yatsenyuk who helped his friend find a job at the National Security and Defense Council, and later recruited him into his party.
