The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has appointed Iryna Zhabska as the new Chairperson of the Management Board of PJSC Kristalbank, Interfax-Ukraine reported, citing information from the National Securities and Stock Market Commission.
It is specified that after the NBU approved Zhabska's candidacy for the position of head of the bank's board, she assumed her duties on May 7. Previously, Iryna Zhabska served as deputy chair of the board of Agrarian Commercial Bank and deputy chair of the board of Financial Partner Bank.
Kyiv-based Crystalbank was established by the Deposit Guarantee Fund in December 2014, through the transfer of assets and liabilities from the bankrupt Terra Bank. Its authorized capital is UAH 120,523 million. In March 2015, 100% of Crystalbank's shares were purchased by Marina Lening, the wife of former Acting Minister of Economy and Deputy Minister of Finance Vadym Kopylov.
