The transfer of ownership and management rights to the Pyramid shopping center, located near the Pozniaky metro station in Kyiv, is unlikely to have any impact on its operations. The change in ownership was announced in a statement from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU), which granted permission to Dragon Capital to acquire a controlling stake from the Cypriot firm 1849 Apollo Overseas I Limited.
Specifically, the announcement states the following: "Permission has been granted to Dragon Capital Investments Limited (Nicosia, Cyprus) to acquire shares in 1849 Apollo Overseas I Limited (Nicosia, Cyprus), which represents a controlling interest of more than 50% of the company's governing body." The reason for the transfer of control over the 1600-square-meter structure, which houses supermarkets, large-format stores, boutiques, and a restaurant, was not disclosed.
