Several dozen athletic young men stormed the company's sales offices in various districts of the capital, forcibly seized the premises, and, threatening to physically harm employees, blocked their operations.
«The attack resulted in damage to office furniture and equipment, a construction fence surrounding the facility, and vandalism of the walls of nearby residential buildings. Company staff quickly called the police, after which the attackers quickly fled the scene.
There were no injuries among the company's employees as a result of the attack, and the extent of the damage is being determined. The incidents did not impact the company's construction progress. We continue to fulfill our obligations on time and with consistent quality.
The company, however, must note that this is not the first attack on sales departments carried out by members of the so-called "titushki" group. In fact, several of the attackers were identified by our sales staff as "activists" who carried out attacks on sites last year.
However, the aggressive and muscular "activists" were unable to identify which honest and incorruptible public organization they belonged to and which Kyiv residents' interests they had come to defend. In aggressive attempts to disrupt a company's operations through blackmail, threats, and vandalism, we see manifestations of a highly threatening phenomenon: economic terrorism. Its consequences are the undermining of investor confidence in our country and the destruction of the investment climate in the country.
The company appeals to the heads of law enforcement agencies to give a decisive response to economic terrorism, to take all measures to identify not only the perpetrators of the crime, but also those who ordered these attacks, and to provide a legal assessment of their activities.“, says the Intergal-Bud statement.
