UkSATSE reported a UAH 1,5 billion loss for 2020.

According to the results of 2020, the state enterprise Ukraerorukh received a net loss in the amount of UAH 1,500,000,000, reports Marlin with reference to the consolidated report on the implementation of the enterprise's financial plan indicators.

The difference between the income from the sale of air navigation services of UkSATSE and their cost for the previous year was 664,400,000 hryvnias.

In 2019, UkSATSE reported losses of UAH 1,120,000,000.

UkSATSE attributes the loss to the consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic. Specifically, a reduction in flight intensity and the number of aircraft in the air, while dispatch and engineering personnel and navigation equipment continue to operate.

"Also having a negative impact is accounts receivable, which at the end of last year amounted to more than UAH 1300000000 billion from the private airline Ukraine International Airlines, whose ultimate beneficiary is Igor Kolomoisky," writes Marlin.

It is noted that in 2020, UkSATSE received a long-term loan of €25 million from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, as well as ₽200 million in financial assistance from the Sea Ports Authority.
