The Ukrainian division of Sberbank of Russia increased its authorized capital.

Sberbank of RussiaSberbank PJSC in Kyiv, a subsidiary of Sberbank of Russia, increased its authorized capital by 2,4 times.

The amount amounted to UAH 8,172 billion. The authorized capital increase was realized through the conversion of subordinated debt and was carried out in accordance with the recommendations of the National Bank of Ukraine. On February 11, the bank received the right to issue shares.

According to the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), Sberbank PJSC was the fifth-largest bank by total assets as of October 1 of last year, with assets amounting to UAH 53,75 billion. The bank itself is owned by Sberbank of Russia PJSC. It was founded in 2001 and has changed its name several times since then.
