
Ukrgasbank's comment on Kravets' suspicions
On Thursday, October 6, the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine reported information on suspicion of former Chairman of the Board of JSC Ukrgasbank Kyrylo Shevchenko in a case of illegal activity by officials of the financial institution. The current chairman of the board of Ukrgasbank, Andriy Kravets, was also accused of abuse of office, writes Ministry of Finance.

«The press service of Ukrgasbank JSB reports that the current chairman of the board of Ukrgasbank, Andriy Nikolaevich Kravets, did not receive any notice of suspicion and was not a participant in the events described in the press releases of the NABU and SAP.", - the message says.
According to information published by NABU and SAP, these events occurred between 2014 and 2020. Ukrgasbank Board Chairman Andriy Kravets is currently at his post and fulfilling his official duties.
«In relation to the aforementioned accusations from NABU and SAP, all management bodies of the bank, JSB Ukrgasbank, carried out the necessary internal audits of the stated facts and additionally engaged internationally recognized audit companies, the results of whose work did not reveal any violations., the financial institution stated.
Ukrgasbank also emphasized that anti-corruption audits of the bank's business partners are currently being conducted.
