Since 2014, the large state-owned company Ukrgazvydobuvannya has been served by the banks of David Zhvania and Igor Yeremeyev's partners, according to the publication "Insider."
It has been revealed that, since December 2014, Ukrgazvydobuvannya has been using a new account for paying advance payments: "Bank for Investments and Savings" (BIZ). 15% of this bank's shares are owned by Andriy Popov, with another 85% held by 17 legal entities and individuals, each with a stake of no more than 10%. By March of last year, businessmen were listed among the owners of a significant portion of this bank's shares. Sergey Lagur and a people's deputy Stepan Ivahiv, who, together with Igor Eremeev, are co-founders of the Continuum holding (WOG gas station network).
It is also known that the state-owned company Ukrgazvydobuvannya holds auctions to sell its products. Bidders are required to pay advance fees. Until December 2014, Ukrgazvydobuvannya used its account details for payment of fees exclusively at David Zhvania's Diamantbank. According to Insider, the payroll accounts of all Ukrgazvydobuvannya branches and divisions, except for the central office, are located at these same banks: Bank of Investments and Savings and Diamantbank.
The state-owned company's central office is serviced by Prominvestbank. This was revealed by an employee of Ukrgazvydobuvannya. According to him, Ukrgazvydobuvannya's payroll projects were transferred to Diamantbank back in early 2014. Previously, they were serviced by Dmytro Firtash's Nadra Bank. This is due to the fact that during the presidency of Viktor Yanukovych, Ukrgazvydobuvannya was headed by Yuriy Borysov, a former manager at Firtash's company, Ostchem.
As a reminder, in early March 2014, Serhiy Kostyuk was appointed Chairman of the Board of Ukrgazvydobuvannya. Through the Feon MPP, he has a close relationship with MP Yaroslav Moskalenko, who is a member of Ihor Yeremeyev's "People's Will" parliamentary group.
Vadym Shlenchak was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Board of Ukrgazvydobuvannya. He is one of the owners of the Kalina gas station chain, which was acquired by Yeremeyev's WOG group of companies in 2011. Following these appointments, almost all of the raw materials for gasoline and liquefied gas produced by Ukrgazvydobuvannya were purchased without any auctions and at reduced prices by several companies associated with Yeremeyev and his associate, Moskalenko.
A government source told Insider that Mykola Martynenko, a close associate of Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, is handling the management positions at Ukrgazvydobuvannya.
As is known, in May 2014 the Cabinet of Ministers began transferring all employees of state-owned companies to state-owned banks for services.
