Ukrtransnafta's management has appealed to Ukrtatnafta, a state-owned oil company, to partially return its industrial oil to the state system. However, Ukrtatnafta's top management is artificially blocking the return of the oil to the state. This was reported on Facebook by the executive director of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine. Andrey Pasishnik.
In its response, Ukrtatnafta cites a debt of 375 million hryvnias for "tank rent," which the state still hasn't paid. Furthermore, on December 15, another court hearing will be held on Ukrtatnafta's lawsuit seeking forced collection of the state's debt for storing industrial oil at Ukrtatnafta's facilities.
Pasichnyk noted that the Kremenchuk Oil Refinery (part of Ukrtatnafta) is artificially holding onto approximately 239 tons of process oil, with a book value of approximately 128 million hryvnias. Kolomoisky's company, meanwhile, is attempting to profit from the process oil at approximately four times its book value.
Pasichnyk noted that if law enforcement agencies do not immediately intervene in this transaction and return the oil to the state, then all the oil will be forcibly confiscated as "compensation for the fictitious services of leasing tanks."
