The head of Ukrtransnafta made this statement in response to the NBU's order issued the previous day. The regulator required state-owned companies to place deposits only in financial institutions in which the state owns at least 70% of the shares.

Gavrilenko noted that currently a number of Ukrtransnafta's deposits and current accounts are held in the state-owned Oschadbank and Ukrgasbank.

By March, the state-owned company's accounts held at PrivatBank will be transferred to a state-owned financial institution. The specific institution has not been disclosed.
