Ukrzalzholdor buys spare parts at exorbitant prices from dubious companies.

During the latest public procurement, the Ukrzheldor branch (Production Support Center) managed to spend 13% more from the budget than last year, although, according to experts, this was not due to any significant need, driven by the increased cost of consumables. The tender, won by two firms, resulted in the supply of rails and crosspieces worth UAH 489,84 million, with Argo supplying spare parts worth UAH 296,12 million, and Spetsukrresurs supplying UAH 193,72 million, respectively.
In addition to the two winners, Tyazhmashkomplekt (owned by Yulia Polischuk) and Transinvest Holding (owned by Rinat Akhmetov) also bid in the tender, but they were rejected despite offering more attractive bids. The situation appears more than strange for another reason: Argo has already had several owners, including those from different regions (Luhansk Oblast, Fastiv, Zhytomyr Oblast, etc.), raising justifiable suspicions among observers that this company is simply a shell company, whose activities are aimed at money laundering and fraud.
