The government has approved a list of 420 state-owned enterprises that will be transferred to the management of the State Property Fund for further privatization and liquidation.
About it сообщает Ministry of Economy.
It is noted that this will be the next stage of the triage—the division of the next group of state assets into viable ones and those that are damaging, exist solely on paper, and are of no interest to investors.
"66 state-owned enterprises will receive new owners as part of the so-called 'small' privatization. Attracting investment will allow for the resumption or modernization of production, including export-oriented production, and the creation of new jobs. This will be part of the country's economic recovery.
"354 state-owned enterprises will be liquidated or reorganized. In most cases, these are legal shells that lack the capacity to resume operations," the statement reads.

We also reported that the Cabinet of Ministers had changed its mind about selling the President Hotel: privatization had been cancelled.
