On July 18, 2016, Ukrbudinvestbank, which was recently acquired by Yulia Tymoshenko's son-in-law, Artur Chechetkin, and his business partner, Svetlana Demyanenko, replaced its supervisory board members.
Svetlana Demyanenko, who owns 53,6896% of the bank's authorized capital, was elected head of the financial institution's supervisory board.
The supervisory board of Ukrbudinvestbank also includes Denis Kikhtenko, Tatyana Motrich, Alona Kukuruza, and Andriy Burlaenko.
As a reminder, the NBU previously gave permission to Demyanenko and Chechetkina to buy out 53,69% and 46,31% of Ukrbudinvestbank shares, respectively.
There are reports in the media that Mr. Chechetkin, although he has not formally married Yulia Tymoshenko's daughter, is the father of the Batkivshchyna leader's granddaughter.
Let us recall that in terms of total assets (362,9 million UAH), Ukrbudinvestbank (previously known as Fokas Bank) currently ranks 85th among 109 operating Ukrainian banks.
