The BPP MPs had a row with each other

bppOn Monday evening, November 23, 2015, at a meeting of the BPP faction, a group of deputies accused the faction leadership of corruption and an organized PR campaign against a fellow party member.

In particular, it is known that during his speech, MP Viktor Chumak stated that an information war is being waged against him, the instigators of which are the deputy heads of the BPP faction Igor Kononenko, Sergei Pashinsky, and Sergei Berezenko.

As Chumak noted, "there's a system of mutual responsibility within the BPP faction." Chumak called the BPP faction itself a "mafia clan" and accused its leadership of being involved in business rather than politics. However, Chumak said he would not leave the faction and suggested that those "engaged in corruption" should also leave.

In turn, Mr. Kononenko completely denied all accusations against himself and called himself the victim of a "custom job" on the part of the 1+1 TV channel and its owner, Igor Kolomoisky.

Moreover, at a faction meeting, MP Olga Bogomolets accused Oleksandr Tretyakov and his associate Gleb Zagoriy (head of the Darnitsa Pharmaceutical Company) of laundering funds from government procurement in the pharmaceutical industry. Tretyakov, in turn, accused Olga Bogomolets of "lobbying" for Russian manufacturers.

Sergei Leshchenko also exchanged joint accusations, stating that the faction's leadership makes decisions based on instructions from the Presidential Administration.

Faction leader Yuriy Lutsenko urged his colleagues not to overdramatize the situation and asked everyone present to decide what coalition format they wanted to see in Parliament: "either a Poroshenko coalition or a coalition of the oligarch Kolomoisky."
