The Ministry of Internal Affairs has announced plans for apartments for ATO fighters.

ATO apartmentsThe Ministry of Internal Affairs "clarified" the situation with apartments for ATO fighters. Journalist Denis Bigus reported this on Facebook.
This issue had previously sparked controversy, as the company Ukrbud intended to sell apartments intended for soldiers. Finally, some clarity emerged in the matter: the Ministry of Internal Affairs stated that 9% of the apartments built were intended for Ministry employees and ATO fighters. As for the "100%," it turns out they were talking about a 100% guarantee, not 100% of the apartments.
Bigus also recalled that on November 20th of last year, the head of the Kyiv Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Oleksandr Tereshchuk, wrote a letter of guarantee to the city council members, pledging to hand over all apartments to law enforcement. This letter, however, refers to 100% of the apartments, not just 9%.

It is important to note that The media previously reported in detail on the sale of these apartments for 1-2 million hryvnias each.Bigus himself called this situation "MVD arithmetic." Ukrbud, for its part, stated that they had no letter from Tereshchuk, and the head of the MVD department himself declined to comment on the situation.
