A playground was burned in the village of Kotovsky, and the Right Sector office on Koblevskaya Street was bombed. Fortunately, no residents were injured.
Two explosions occurred in Odessa last night, local residents reported. "Yesterday, late in the evening, a Molotov cocktail was thrown onto a children's playground near the Zvezdny cinema. A massive fire started."
By the time the firefighters arrived, almost everything had burned down,” eyewitnesses say.
The village noted that this was one of the best playgrounds in the neighborhood; many children always spent time there.
Residents on social media are speculating that the vandalism was motivated by the fact that the platform was installed by Roshen, a company known to be owned by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko.
Also yesterday, around 11:00 or 12:00 a.m., another explosion was heard at 40 Koblevskaya Street. As was later reported, the explosion was at the Right Sector office. At the time, there were no people in the building, and no one was injured.
The deafening sound could be heard for 2 blocks, and the shock wave shattered glass in adjacent buildings.
Law enforcement agencies have not yet announced whether the two explosions are connected. However, the public is convinced that the incidents are clearly politically motivated.
As a reminder, Odessa has been hit by a series of explosions in recent months. On February 17th alone, two consecutive explosions rocked the city center, and on the night of February 11th, an explosion occurred on the third floor of the More Hostel Odessa, located at 42 Koblevska Street.
