The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported the dismantling of a million-dollar bot farm "that was destabilizing the situation in Ukraine at the behest of one political force." According to Strana's sources in law enforcement, this political force, according to the SBU, is European Solidarity. Petro Poroshenko, writes Country.

As the press service of the SBU, the bot farm was created “to discredit the country’s leadership and destabilize the socio-political situation.”

According to the SBU, the bot farm's facilities were also used by Russian intelligence agencies, in particular to spread fake news about the situation on the front lines, the SBU reports.

The “operations” included spreading reports of a conflict between Zelensky and Zaluzhny and “discrediting the first lady.”

In addition to a million bots, social media groups with an audience of 400 users were also used.

The process was led by a Russian citizen who lived in Kyiv and positioned himself as a “political expert.”

"According to the investigation, he organized subversive information activities commissioned by one of the domestic political forces. To coordinate these criminal activities, he was in contact with a current member of parliament, a member of the close circle of the former leadership of our country," the SBU reported.

A Russian political strategist created specialized software that allowed the group's members to automatically manage an unlimited number of anonymous accounts on the most popular social networks.

The Telegram channel "Politics of the Country" analyzed the security forces' resonant statement:

"If the accusations against Poroshenko's party of creating a bot farm to discredit the government, as well as the fact that this same farm was also used by Russian intelligence agencies to discredit the Ukrainian Armed Forces, don't fade into the distance but rather continue to develop and result in specific criminal cases against Poroshenko's allies, the consequences for the political landscape in Ukraine could be serious. Bankovaya, relying on these accusations, could attempt to completely politically destroy the former president and his party."

It's also noteworthy that the bot farm's actions specifically include "discrediting the First Lady." This is probably meant toShackles surround the Zelenskaya couple's photo shoot for Vogue magazine“, reports Politika Strany.

Meanwhile, Petro Poroshenko managed to leave Ukraine on his third attempt at the end of June. Media outlets reported him strolling through London with a girlfriend, relaxing in a hotel restaurant with his family, and after the official end of his trip, he was spotted in a Polish resort town.
