At Ukrtransnafta's supervisory board meeting on April 22, Roman Sydorak was appointed as the company's new acting CEO. This was reported to UP by the state-owned enterprise's supervisory board minutes.
The new document states that Acting Roman Sydorak will temporarily lead PJSC Ukrtransnafta from April 23, 2015, to August 10, 2015. The suspended head of the company, Oleksandr Lazorko, must hand over PJSC Ukrtransnafta's documents, property, and information to the new head by 15:00 PM on April 23, 2015. Also at the Supervisory Board meeting, Ukrtransnafta board members Volodymyr Kozorin and Natalia Parakhonyak were suspended from their duties until August 10, 2015. During this period, they will be replaced by Igor Kost and Anton Mishina.
As a reminder, a scandal erupted after Lazorko's dismissal from the management of PJSC Ukrtransnafta. Then-Dnipropetrovsk Governor Kolomoisky, accompanied by armed men, arrived at the company's office and later assaulted journalist Serhiy Andrushko. A few days later, Kolomoisky resigned under pressure from the president.
Melnyk was appointed head of Ukrtransnafta, but he never assumed his duties. The supervisory board later replaced Melnyk with Serhiy Sukalo. However, Sukalo was never admitted to managing the company. The minutes of the March 19 supervisory board meeting regarding Sukalo's appointment were sent to Ukrtransnafta by registered mail. However, the current management of the state-owned company deliberately did not receive them by mail, claiming they did not have the relevant documentation.
Some media outlets report that after Lazorko's dismissal, supervisory board members close to Igor Kolomoisky's Privat Group continued to run the company. One of the oligarch's associates was his now-dismissed longtime associate, Natalia Parakhonyak.
