The Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine ruled that Ihor Mosiychuk, a member of parliament from the Republic of Poland Lyashko, was unlawfully stripped of his parliamentary immunity. The Supreme Administrative Court judges ruled that the Verkhovna Rada members illegally included the issue of stripping the member of parliament from the Republic of Poland of his parliamentary immunity on the parliamentary agenda.

The Supreme Administrative Court's ruling states that the Parliament's resolution of September 17, 2015, to lift parliamentary immunity and prosecute Igor Mosiychuk, as well as his detention and arrest, were adopted illegally.

As a reminder, the Prosecutor General's Office accuses MP Mosiychuk of accepting a bribe. On September 18, he was remanded in custody until November 15, 2015.

It was previously reported that the former MP Mosiychuk could face up to 12 years in prison.
