Hungarian companies increase their stake in Finans Bank

bankHungarian companies Eco Food and Brown & Deer intend to increase their stake in Finans Bank to 50%. This was announced at a press conference for the financial institution's shareholders.

Hungarian companies currently own 9,5% of Finans Bank's shares. In addition to increasing their stake, the shareholders intend to invest an additional €20 million in the financial institution. At the shareholders' meeting, a new development strategy was adopted for the bank, and the hiring of a new management team, previously held by Pravex Bank, VTB Bank, FUIB, and Delta Bank, was announced.

Artur Muravitsky, Chairman of the Board of Finance Bank, noted that the financial institution will focus on retail banking, as well as small and medium-sized business clients.

Hungarian Ambassador to Ukraine Erno Keskeny, who participated in the press conference, stated that he will do everything possible to support his fellow countrymen's interest in the Ukrainian banking business.

As a reminder, Finance Bank was founded in 1992. As of October 1, 2015, with assets of UAH 219,21 million, the financial institution ranked 111th among 123 operating banks in Ukraine.
